Gwent League - Cross Country Blaise Castle
All cross country runners - Saturday the 3rd of March is the final round of this season's Gwent League, set in the lovely Blaise Castle. Would all athletes who would like to take part, please contact me before 2nd March, so that I can include you on the team sheets?

The AGM which was scheduled to take place on Monday 27th February has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. A new date will be advised ASAP.

Notice is given of the Annual General Meeting of Cwmbran Harriers which will take place at Cwmbran stadium on Monday 27th February at 18:30. Notices of motion and nominations for Committe should be submitted to the secretary, Ian Chick.

Senior Welsh Indoor Championships
A number of our athletes competed in the Indoor Welsh Championship. Our athletes achieved some excellent records and positions in their events, including:
Ryan Lee 1st in both 60m & 200m.
Jack Dunn made both the sprint finals.
Samuel Hughes competed in 60m, long jump and took 2nd place in the triple jump.
Melissa Roberts made the 300m final finishing 4th.
Chelsea Harris 6th in 1500m,
Stephen Scarfi 2nd in pole vault,
Josh Bushell 2nd in shot put,
Tyler Pritchard 2nd in 3000m
Ben Jones 2nd in 1500m

Club Vest
Following the change to the new club vest during last season, athletes are reminded that the old vest cannot be worn in competition from 1st April 2012.
Vests may be purchased from Donna Chick at the track on Monday evenings between 6pm and 7pm. Orders will also be taken for crop-tops.
